Development preview — not released

Follow from a Profile's Followers or Following

Planned workflow: Choose an account's visible followers or following as a source, review filters, and preview unique targets before starting your follow task.

Can I choose a profile's followers or following as Follow targets?

These are distinct planned audience sources. Neither live source is released. A future preview must preserve source identity, pagination completeness, exclusions and the current Instagram actor rather than treating a partial audience as complete.

Followers versus Following

Followers means people following the chosen profile; Following means people that profile follows. These are different inputs and must not be combined without showing their origin.

Choose and validate a profile

A profile such as example_account illustrates the input format only. Resolve the intended profile and current actor before accepting a collected audience; renamed or inaccessible accounts require review.

Filter and deduplicate targets

A person appearing repeatedly should produce one candidate. Apply count and account-property filters after identity resolution, then exclude your Follow blacklist.

What happens when a list is limited

A source may return only part of an audience. Keep its completeness visible and avoid presenting the preview count as the profile’s total audience size.
