Follow via an Authorized Instagram Page

Planned workflow: Learn how the optional page-based follow mode works in an authorized Instagram tab, including its session checks, limitations, and recovery behavior.

Is following through an Instagram page available?

The page-based transport remains gated by permission and compatibility review. User-initiated page access does not authorize bypassing challenges or platform restrictions. It is not a released alternative to the blocked live integration.

When to use page mode

Page mode is an audited competitor capability retained as a gated Beta requirement. A verified DOM executor has not been implemented in this product build.

Keep the required tab available

A future page-mode implementation must detect navigation, tab closure, actor changes, and lost page access. It cannot assume a visible page remains unchanged.

Review unknown results

A missing visual response is an Unknown outcome rather than proof of failure. Request and page modes must share the same write guard and recovery rules.

Known compatibility limits

Selectors, permissions, supported Chrome versions, and actual platform behavior require controlled testing. No working page-automation mode is advertised here.
